- When cooking lobster meat, follow my video and post on How To Cook Lobster Tail for succulent and tasty lobster meat. If you prefer boiling lobster, make sure to place the lobster in salted boiling water for not more than 8 minutes.
- I recommend using fresh lobster; however, you can use frozen lobster also. But make sure to thaw it completely before cooking.
- A combination of lobster meat from tails and claws works best for lobster rolls.
- Try using split-top England-style buns, but regular hot dog buns also work just fine.
- If you’re a fan of spices, add some hot sauce to the lobster filling.
- Don’t use more mayonnaise than recommended as it will overpower the sweet taste of lobster meat.
- The best kind of lobster for authentic lobster rolls is Maine lobster. But if it’s not available, you can go for rock lobster also.
