How to cook Pizza Rolls In Air fryer
Firstly, start by making sure you have the correct type of roll. I love using mini brioche buns. But be careful , you want a roll that is not cut all the way through.
You’ll then separate the buns or rolls into individual buns or rolls.
Next, make two deep slits across the roll but keep the roll intact. You will be spreading your garlic and herb butter into these slices.
My favorite tool for this is a serrated knife.
Making the Garlic Butter
To make the garlic butter, simply add the following ingredients into a small food bowl and mix until well combined: melted butter, fresh garlic, oregano (fresh or dried), parmesan cheese, parsley, and salt and pepper.
You can use olive oil in place of butter if you prefer that flavor.
Assembling the pizza rolls
Once your garlic butter is ready, brush the inside of each cut you made with a generous helping of it.
Next, stuff your pizza roll with cheese. You can use mozzarella, cheddar, or any other cheese you like really. Make sure to stuff it well – don’t skimp!
After this, add in pepperoni or salami and more cheese if desired.
And then add in more cheese, because oh yea it’s pizza!
Finally, brush the outside of your roll with a bit more garlic and herb butter. You can sprinkle some Parm if you’re feeling fancy.
Now arrange them in the air fryer basket for some pizza roll deliciousness and cook the pizza rolls in the air fryer basket for 5-6 mins. Make sure they are arranged in a single layer, and without parchment or foil.
They come out with melted cheesy pizza goodness!
How long to cook pizza rolls in the air fryer
Use the air fryer to Cook your pizza rolls for around 5-6 minutes. However, this will depend on how crispy and gooey you like them, so keep checking on them as they cook to make sure they’re done to your satisfaction. They will turn golden brown with an oozy cheesy stuffing.
