- You want a medium-high heat. Start by removing the steak from the marinade and dry off any excess moisture.
- When the skillet or surface is really HOT, that’s when you add the flank steak.
- Cook the meat for 3-5 minutes per side, you want this to be a medium rare for tenderness.
- If you’re unsure , use an instant meat thermometer and aim for an internal of 130 degrees F.
- Once ready, let the steak rest before slicing. This allows juices to redistribute, preventing them from spilling out when sliced.

- Use a cutting board and place the rested meat over it.

- 1/2 cup Sour cream
- 2 Tablespoons Mayonaise
- 1 Tablespoon Taco Seasoning
- 1 Tablespoon Lime juice

- 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
