Long Pin for Baked Brie Toast with Cranberries

This is a show- stopping appetizer for your Holiday table, or any dinner table. Baked Brie Toast with Cranberries, thyme and  drizzled honey is SO GOOD and so easy to pull off last minute!

Today’s divine mouthwatering recipe is sponsored by my friends at The Rustik Oven. All opinions and thoughts are mine alone.

Oh the Holiday food, I wish it would never ends!! I’m one of those people that barely eats cranberries throughout the year, however, I seriously get my share during Thanksgiving and the Holiday season!

Today’s baked brie recipe is made with one of the best breads you’ll ever taste, topped with cranberries, fresh thyme leaves, and finally drizzled with honey. I think I’ll be holding on to this one even after the Holidays for a while! It’s too delicious!

Why This Toast Recipe Works:

First of all, it starts with quality bread. Without a doubt, it makes all the difference! I just discovered The Rustik Oven breads and the minute I tasted them, I could tell the difference.

3 bags of The Rustik Oven Breads over a wooden table and a red tea towel with a bowl of frosted cranberries on the side

There’s so much flavor, perfect texture with a hearty feel that’s absolutely rustic. It says it’s made with simple ingredients and I believe in this phrase so much—the simplest things in life are truly the BEST! I can’t urge you enough to try this bread and taste for yourself!

I toast the bread before adding the baked brie and toppings and this adds so much texture!

Once the bread is toasted and still hot from the oven, I rub a clove of garlic over the crunchy bread. That’s a flavor booster like no other!

The combo of brie and cranberries are pure LOVE and it’s probably everyone’s favorite!

The honey drizzle. Yes, we need that! It’s certainly optional, but I wanna say please don’t skimp! First of all, it’s the Holidays and we’re allowed to indulge a bit. And also, that drizzle rounds off all the flavors in your toast.

How To Make Baked Brie Toast:

Start off with your favorite variety of The Rustik Oven bread, spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet and drizzle a touch of olive oil and pinch of salt.

Two hands holding a piece of toasted bread and rubbing in a garlic clove into the bread for flavor

Once the bread is nice and toasty, rub a clove of garlic over one side of the bread and start piling up your toppings.

As soon as the toast is ready, remove them from the oven and go ahead with a faint drizzle of honey. Enjoy right away, or check the tips below for preparation in advance of this toast recipe 🙂

Just look at that bite! The texture! It’s toast perfection!

Tips for the Best Baked Brie Toast Recipe:

Choose quality bread. I probably can’t stress enough on that!

Toast the bread before adding any toppings, that way you have a perfect crust and also, that way your crust lasts longer.

Rub a clove of garlic on the hot bread for a faint garlic flavor that doesn’t over power the brie and cranberry taste.

Drizzle the honey only when you’re ready to serve the baked brie toast.

To make this toast recipe in advance, prepare the recipe to the point where you need to drizzle honey. At that point, you can keep the toast warm in your oven until ready to serve. Drizzle honey right before serving.

Likewise, you can prepare the recipe until the point where you need to drizzle the honey, and freeze the baked brie toasts in a single layer for up to 1 month. Warm the toast for 30 minutes before serving and drizzle the honey.

Make this mouthwatering recipe and watch your friends and family ooh and ahh over it!! So simple, so satisfying , so festive and yet so easy to make!

I know it’s a crazy time for all of us, so a nice Holiday appetizer like this doesn’t need to be! ENJOY!! 🙂 When you make this recipe, don’t forget to tag me so I can see your beautiful creations! Happy Holidays 🙂

Hi! This recipe looks great. Two questions:

Did you use sugared cranberries or do you have a cranberry sauce that you recommend? Can I use frozen cranberries to make sugared cranberries?

Second, my Brie is gooey. How did you slice yours? Are there different types of Brie?

This is perfection for the holidays. What a great appetizer! Although I would just eat this as a meal – brie is the best!
