Smoked Salmon Dip

Smoked Salmon Dip is a delightful little appetizer that tastes like your favorite smoked salmon bagel filling, but in a dip form. While this is a fancy appetizer/dip, it's truly super easy and quick to make. The ingredients are minimal, and it's made with real smoked salmon unlike store bought versions.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce Cream Cheese Room temperature
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 3 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 1 lemon zest and juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Capers drained
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup Green onion sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt, pepper and chilli flakes
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon
  • 1/4 cup dill leaves

Instructions

  1. First step to make smoked salmon dip is to take out your food processor. You'll begin by adding the cream cheese, sour cream, mayo, green onions, capers, lemon zest, garlic and lemon juice.

The process of making smoked salmon dip starts with cream cheese, sour cream and mayonnaise along with green onions and capers along with lemon zest and juice all added into a bowl of a food processor.
  2. Process these ingredients together first before adding in the salmon and dill. The reason for that is because we LOVE a chunky salmon  dip.
  3. So now once the initial ingredients are smooth, you’ll add the smoked salmon, dill and chilli flakes. While the spice is optional, we highly recommend a pinch at least.

  4. Process the ingredients until you feel that you've reached the consistency you want. You can have this dip as smooth or as chunky as you like.

  5. Serve the dip in to a large bowl and surround it with your favorite dippers. We absolutely LOVE our homemade Pita Chips and they're different than the ones used in our Labneh Dip. They're both however CRAZY good!
