Ingredients

  • 2 cups of canned crushed tomatoes
  • 3 medium cloves of garlic , finely grated using a microplane or minced
  • 1/4 cup of basil leaves , finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of sugar
  • pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium sized bowl, add all the ingredients ad mix them well.
  2. Let the sauce sit for a few minutes and use it right away.
