Recipe Notes

-Choose your favorite nuts, no need to chop them. It’s best to use them whole.
-Feel free to add extra salt if you prefer a rather saltier mixed nuts. Likewise you can remove or add more spice depending on your taste.
-While you may mix all ingredients in a CrockPot, I prefer mixing everything in a bowl first to avoid scratching the stoneware of my CrockPot.
-Ideally, it’s best to mix the nuts every 30-45 minutes.
-Do not wait until the nuts feel crunchy in the Crockpot. Just rely on them being deeply golden and rely on the time.
-The nuts harden as they cool so the fastest way for them to cool is to spread them on a parchment lined baking sheet.
-Once they cool completely, it’s best to store the nuts in a sealed container.
-Nuts can keep at room temperature for over two weeks. Likewise, you can freeze the nuts well sealed for about three months.
